Windmill Downwinder

Another day out on the water.....
Jim and I got out for a paddle about 2pm for about an hour and a half downwinder from
Windmill Island to the southwest end of Lake Macatawa.
We made a pretty leisurely paddle and saw plenty of geese and ducks.  Even got to see a little beaver cruising on the shoreline.
There was a pretty steady East wind helping us make the trip.
In the open water, the wind was strong enough to make for some decent wind driven waves.  Luckily, neither of us checked the water temp.
The temps are coming up and I'm looking forward to a spring/summer season full of some paddling adventures.  Keep checking back for news/updates.  Feel free to email me with questions or comments.
